I must say the message that you have shared and the very honest way you have portrayed the victories that you have managed to achieve in your walk with God, has been really encouraging. Self image is something that I have struggled with and I am glad about the way you have communicated it here and the true reflection that the duckling sees in the mirror. Through the word of God I have been able to see myself as the beautiful swine and not the distorted image of me before I looked into the mirror through God's word. I am able to see me as the lord actually created me to be and believes I am regardless of the thoughtless comments that are made by people that don't realise the impact of their words on the people that the are making these comments to. I was up late one evening last week and 'happened' upon your broadcast about tailor made temptations. My goodness if ever there was a timely word. I am usually tucked up in bed by the time your programme was aired, but i'd been feeling really low and mighty sorry for myself that night about the circumstance i find myself in and so was just mindlessly watching tv, but God knew i would have the change to watch you. What a wonderfully easy to watch and listen to person you are. you are so down to earth and 'normal'. not superspiritual in your delivery, which is so refreshing. I am definintely going to be tuning in from now on and im telling my friends about the gem ive discovered. i am going to be ordering resources so i can listen again and again. Thankyou so much Terri for letting God use you and for being so real and teaching such a practical and attainable message. I give thanks to God for leading me to yor teaching because its so timely for me at present. Is all I can say.... This was divine appointment for me. First I just got back last week from a miision trip in Somotillo Nicaragua at an orphanage. I have been studying off and on for the past 8 months on the power of prayer. I just turned on the TV the other day because while I was in Nicaragua, I didn't watch TV so the first show was Jerry Savelle. I was so tuned in to what he was saying. I couldn't get enough. I have had a certain dream and desire that I am praying for and have been for the last year and it just keeps getting deeper in the scripture of How i am suppose to pray. Then I am led to this website, ad God really spoke to me and taught me even more throught this. Thank You So Very Much for these encouraging words. I know now that God will bring my desire to pass.
