My husband and I have subscribed to you and you father's itunes podcasts and listen to them daily, they are blessings to us. I am believing for the tuition to the She Speaks Conference in Charlotte NC please pray with me. I am preparing myself to answer God's call and all things are "falling" into place. I have been offered a job with less stress and the part-time hours I requested, with no pay cut, by a strong Christian manager;through nothing that I had done! God is working in our lives. The Lord spoke to me through a dream last night that I am "pregnant" with an assignment. This blog post is such confirmation about the things that He spoke about. A pregnant woman prepares for her baby almost from the moment that she learns she is pregnant and spends the next nine months preparing. As in the natural, so in the spiritual. In another article you wrote entitled, "Your Calling is Calling", you went into detail about the importance of preparation. I practically memorized that article and began taking steps to prepare for my calling which including writing devotionals. Literally, days after I started "preparing" by faith, I got an email from a local radio ministry asking for samples of my work. They asked that I send it "ASAP"! If I hadn't already prepared for that day, chances are, I would have been nervous and feeling rushed. But I sent the devotionals, they loved them, and I've been writing devotionals on their website for a month now! Yes Terri, this is all so true!
