Terri, i’ve been dealing w/ a spirit of insecurity & jealousy & i know that coming across your show wasn’t an accident. I know i’m supposed to love & accept myself unconditionally the way God loves & accepts me but i didn’t know how so i’ve been asking God to show me how & that’s how i’ve come upon your show. I bought your CD & have been listening to it & i can totally relate to what you’re talking about. I was molested by a family member as child & two other family members attempted but thank God he was there w/ me. Growing up, i was always the last one to be chosen & guys always chose my friends over me so i always felt like i was never good enough. Now i’m w/ a man who has the need to look @ other women & claims it as being observant but you know, i’m going to stop blaming him for my insecurities. Granted what he’s doing is so disrespectful & inappropriate in my eyes but i finally confessed to him my feelings of rejection & am waiting on God to heal me. I just wanted to say thanks for putting your story out there cuz like you said, God will make a message out of your mess. I know the devil knows how to push my buttons & i have become predictable on those situations but w/ all my might & determination, i will NOT allow the devil to drag me down again. Please keep me in your prayers & i KNOW that my breakthrough is coming. Like Joel Osteen said “Pay day is coming” & Joyce Meyer said “I may not be where i need to be but thank God i’m not where i used to be!” God bless you always!

I have heard you tell that story about the lab monkeys before on your “Where were you headed before the storm hit” CD- that’s very interesting! Some of the stuff you say on there about how you and Rodney write out your goals and pray on them seemed uncanny to hear about – I’m not calling you a liar at all- it’s just a real blessing. Thanks for all your advice!
