A dear friend of mine passed away this summer.
It was totally unexpected (in fact it’s strange to think he used to watch my podcast every week and randomly send me encouraging texts or call). He was so special to me.
I left his funeral thinking, What do I need to do before my time is up? What is God expecting of me? We all have a limited time to fulfill our God-given assignments.

In prayer recently, I heard the Lord say, “Order brings overflow.” I believe God wants us to get things in order so He can bring an overflow of blessings.
1 Corinthians 14:33 says, “For God is a God, not of disorder, but of peace.”
1 Corinthians 14:40, says, “All things must be done decently and in order.”
The word “order” in the Greek is well-planned. The opposite of order is chaos, confusion, discombobulation or embarrassment. God doesn’t bless chaos and confusion. He’s not the author of confusion.
